Who we support
Break the Silence supports adults and young people aged 13 and over in North and East Ayrshire who have experienced childhood sexual trauma, as well as their partners, family members and others who are affected by what has happened. We welcome people of all genders, backgrounds and identities who have been affected by childhood sexual abuse, whenever the trauma happened.
Therapies we use
We can offer a choice of therapies, techniques and approaches which they will tailor to suit you, helping you find what feels right for your own journey towards healing. Whether EMDR to process trauma memories, compassion-focused therapy to build kindness towards yourself, or other modalities like pluralistic or transference work, we work with you at your own pace.
